365 Day Writing Challenge- Day 3

September 3

Blogger with a cause If your day to day responsibilities were taken care of and you could throw yourself completely behind a cause, what would it be?

I would throw myself behind Random Acts of Kindness because it rarely pisses people off to be shown a random act of kindness. I could spend my time defending any organization and its cause, but the reality is we need to start with something simple.

For my 33rd Birthday, I asked for everyone to donate money instead of gifts so I could use it to go around town passing out gift cards, coloring books, leaving money in laundry mats, baking cookies for local businesses, etc. I ended up doing 33 random acts in one day with my daughter. It was great! It was the best birthday I’ve had in a while and I wish I could do it more often.

Here are a few pictures of what we passed out that day.
